Initial Account Setup Checklist
Step 1: Create or Connect Your Account
To get started with Shipifi, you’ll first need to create an account or connect your Shopify store.
If you use Shopify:
- Go to the Shopify App Store.
- Search for Shipifi.
- Click Add App and approve installation.
- Once installed, Shipifi automatically connects to your store and begins syncing your orders.

If you don’t use Shopify:
- Visit https://shipifi.com.
- Click Start free.
- Enter your business email and create a password.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email — click the link to activate your account.

Step 2: Set Up Your Business Profile
Once your account is created, complete your business and contact information inside the Shipifi dashboard.
- Add your Company Name, Phone Number, and Business Address.
- Click Save to confirm.

Step 3: Add Your Packaging and Pallet Sizes
Before booking your first shipment, it’s important to define your packaging and pallet dimensions.
This ensures that Shipifi calculates accurate shipping rates and freight classes.
- Go to Settings → Packaging.
- Click Add Packaging or Add Pallet.
- Enter:
- Length
- Width
- Height
- Weight (lbs)
- Description
- Click Save to add your packaging type.

Step 4: Connect Shipifi with Shopify Checkout
If you’re using Shopify, connect Shipifi to your Shopify Checkout to display real-time carrier rates for your customers.
- In Shopify Admin, go to Settings → Shipping and Delivery.
- Under Carrier and App Rates, click Manage.
- Select Shipifi as your carrier app.
- Enable Real-Time Rates at checkout.

Step 5: Connect Your Carriers (Optional)
You can optionally connect your existing carrier accounts to Shipifi if you want to use your own negotiated rates.
- Go to Integrations → Carriers.
- Click Connect Carrier Account.
- Select from carriers like UPS, FedEx, USPS, or DHL.
- Enter your account credentials and click Save.
Step 6: Sync Your Products and Orders
Shipifi automatically imports your Shopify orders and product details so you can start shipping right away.
- Go to the Orders tab.
- Verify that your Shopify orders are visible.
- Click Sync Now if orders don’t appear immediately.
Step 7: Verify Pickup and Delivery Information
To avoid delays, make sure your pickup and delivery details are accurate before shipping.
- Go to Settings → Pickup Information.
- Enter:
- Warehouse Address
- Pickup Hours
- Contact Name and Number
- Save the details.
Step 8: Book Your First Shipment
Once your setup is complete, you’re ready to start shipping!
- Click on any order from your Shipifi dashboard.
- Click Get Rates.
- Compare options and select the best carrier.
- Click Book Shipment to confirm.
Step 9: Final Checklist
✅ Account created or Shopify connected
✅ Business info added
✅ Packaging and pallet sizes set
✅ Shopify checkout linked
✅ Carriers connected
✅ Orders synced
✅ Ready to ship!
