How to Book Your Shopify Order from the Shipduo Dashboard

${frame}Supademohen you connect your Shopify store to Shipifi, your orders automatically sync to your dashboard. You can then book shipments directly without leaving Shipifi.

Step 1: Go to the Orders Section

Log in to [Shipduo]().
In the left-hand menu, click Orders.

Step 2: Choose an Order to Ship

Find the order you want to book.
Click the Ship button in the Action column. This will open a shipment popup. (screenshot of order details popup)

Step 3: Fill in Shipment Details

In the popup window:

Confirm the From (shipper) and To (customer) addresses.
Add package details (weight, dimensions, number of packages).
Select your preferred carrier and service.
Click Get Quote to see live shipping rates.

Step 4: Book the Shipment

Review the rate and details.
Click Book Shipment.
Shipifi will automatically:
- Close the order in your dashboard.
- Add the tracking number and shipping information directly into the Shopify order notes.

Step 5: View Tracking in Shopify

Once booked:

You can connect your UPS account to Shipduo and use your own negotiated UPS rates for shipping. This requires credentials from the UPS Developer Portal.

Step 1: Get Your UPS API Credentials

To connect UPS, you will need the following:

Client ID
Client Secret
Account Number (your UPS shipper account number) 📌 You can obtain these credentials by following the official UPS guide: 👉 UPS Developer Portal – Get Started If you don’t already have API credentials, you’ll need to sign up for the UPS Developer Kit and generate them.

Step 2: Log in to Shipduo

Go to [Shipduo Login]() and log in with your credentials.
Navigate to Settings → Carrier Accounts.
Click Add Carrier and select UPS.

Step 3: Enter Your UPS Account Information

Fill in the fields as shown in the setup window:

Account Label → A nickname for your account inside Shipduo (e.g., UPS Main Account or UPS Test).
Client ID → Your UPS API Client ID from the developer portal.
Client Secret → Your UPS API Client Secret from the developer portal.
Account → Your UPS Shipper Number. 💡 Note: The Account Label is important because this is the name Shipduo will display when you select UPS rates.

Step 1: Collect Your SAIA Credentials

Before adding your account, make sure you have the following from SAIA:

User ID (SAIA-provided API username, usually an email)
Password (API password)
Account Number (your SAIA freight account number)
Rate Key (provided by SAIA to access rate quotes)
BOL Key (provided by SAIA to generate Bills of Lading) If you don’t have the API credentials or keys, contact your SAIA representative and request access to their web services.

Step 2: Log in to Shipduo

Sign in to your [Shipduo account]().
Go to Settings → Carrier Accounts.
Click Add Carrier and select SAIA.

How to Book a Manual Shipment on Shipduo

Manual booking lets you create a shipment from scratch — no order import required. It's the right choice for one-off shipments, freight quotes you want to turn into a booking, or any shipment that didn't come in through Shopify or email integration. This article walks through booking an LTL freight shipment step by step. (You can also choose Small Parcel, which uses a similar but shorter form.)

Step 1: Start a New Shipment

From the left menu, go to Shipments.
Click Create Shipment in the top-right corner.
Choose LTL (or Small Parcel) from the dropdown.

Step 2: Choose Your Role

At the top of the form, select who you are on this shipment under I am the:

Shipper — you are the sender of the goods.
Consignee — you are the receiver of the goods.
Third Party — you are arranging the shipment on behalf of another party.

Step 3: Enter Pickup and Destination

Fill in both the Pickup and Destination panels. Pickup

Set the Date and the Pickup Start / Pickup End window.
Use Search Address/Company Name to find a saved address, or enter it manually: Address Line 1, City, State, Country, and Zip. Destination

Saving your packages in Shipduo makes shipping faster and more accurate. Once your packages are set up, Shipduo can automatically assign the most efficient, lowest-cost package based on your shipment's dimensions — so you don't re-enter sizes every time you book, and your checkout rates come out more accurate. In short, packages help in two big ways: easier booking and a more accurate checkout experience. The Packages page has three tabs, each for a different type of saved item:

Package — boxes (for small parcel)
Pallet — reusable pallets (for LTL freight)
Shipment Spec — a saved, ready-to-use shipment configuration (one or more pallets with full details) To get there, open Packages from the left menu.

Step 1: Add a Package (Box)

Use this for the boxes you ship small parcels in.

On the Package tab, click Add Package.
Enter a Name (e.g., "Small Box").
Enter the Length, Width, and Height, and choose the Unit (inch).
Enter the package Weight and Weight Unit (the box's own weight).
Enter the Capacity and Capacity Weight Unit (the maximum weight the box can hold).
Click Save.

Your saved packages appear as cards showing their Dimensions, Capacity, and Weight.

Step 2: Add a Pallet
