How to Ship an Order from Email Integration

Once an order has been imported into Shipduo through email integration, shipping it takes just a couple of clicks. You click Ship, the order details that Shipduo's AI pulled from the email pop up, you verify everything is correct, and you book your BOL or label.

📋 Before you start: This article assumes your orders are already flowing in automatically. If you haven't set that up yet, see How to Automate Orders from Any System Using Email Integration.

Step 1: Open Your Imported Orders

  1. From the left menu, go to Orders → Emails AI integration.
  2. You'll see the list of orders that were imported from your integration email, each with Sender, Receiver, Items, and Package details.

Step 2: Click Ship

Find the order you want to ship and click Ship. The Order detail panel opens with everything Shipduo extracted from the order email already filled in.

Step 3: Verify the Details

Review the auto-filled details and make any corrections before booking:

  • View Email Thread — open the original email the order came from, if you need to double-check anything.
  • Order number — edit it if needed.
  • Small Parcel / LTL — confirm the shipment type.
  • Addresses — confirm the pickup and delivery locations.
  • Items — click Edit to review or adjust the items.
  • Pallet / Package — confirm the weight and dimensions.
  • Options — add any accessorials (lift gate, residential, etc.).
  • Shipping Protection — choose whether to add coverage.
  • Shipment date and the Pickup / Delivery windows.

💡 Tip: Give the weight, dimensions, and addresses a quick check. AI extraction is accurate, but a fast review ensures you get the right rate.

Step 4: Get Rates and Book

  1. Click Next (or refresh Rates) to pull the available carrier options.
  2. Compare the rates and select your carrier.
  3. Book the shipment and generate your BOL (for LTL) or label (for small parcel).

That's it — your imported order is now booked and ready to ship.

Troubleshooting

  • Details look incomplete? Use View Email Thread to check the original email, then edit the items, addresses, or package before booking.
  • No rates returned? Confirm the addresses, weight, dimensions, and shipment type are all filled in correctly.
  • Order not in the list? It may not have imported yet — see the email integration article to confirm your setup.
